All Things Are Possible Conference 2024
Generational Curses
Day Four
Life Under a Curse
On November 14, the fourth day of the “All Things Are Possible” Conference 2024, Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim delivered a powerful message about the consequences of being under a curse and the profound impact it can have on an individual’s life.
According to Dr. Dadzie, when a person is under a curse, they often feel trapped, restricted, or bound in ways that hinder their progress. This spiritual condition can manifest in many forms, including recurring illnesses, unfortunate events, and ongoing struggles in areas where others seem to flourish effortlessly.
Dr. Dadzie described how the effects of a curse can be so overwhelming that the person becomes a cautionary tale. Their story is used as an example of misfortune, often discussed and gossiped about by others, as a warning of the destructive power of curses.
The physical and mental toll of a curse, Dr. Dadzie explained, can be devastating. Cognitive abilities may decline, leading to confusion, lack of clarity, and difficulty in making decisions. On the physical side, the body becomes weak, and in severe cases, it can even lead to blindness.
The torment, he stated, is relentless, leaving the afflicted person in a constant state of distress—longing for relief during the day, only for the night to bring its own terrors. Fear becomes a constant companion, overshadowing every aspect of life.
Dr. Dadzie highlighted that curses don’t only affect the individual; they have the power to impact every area of life. He used the example of a farmer whose land, under a curse, becomes barren and unproductive. The weather itself may turn against them, and despite all their hard work, nothing seems to grow. In relationships, particularly in marriage, a curse can lead to an unhappy and unstable union, making it impossible to build a loving and lasting home. He further added that such curses can even affect children, causing them to grow up and eventually abandon their parents.
Perhaps most concerning, Dr. Dadzie revealed that curses are often generational. They can affect not just the individual but their children and future generations as well, perpetuating cycles of misfortune.
The respected man of God also spoke about the significance of a person’s name, emphasizing that certain names, especially those with negative or unfortunate meanings, can have a lasting impact on one’s life and even their ability to enter heaven.
He urged the congregation to be mindful of the spiritual weight a name can carry.
Additionally, Dr. Dadzie warned about the potential dangers of certain adornments, such as wigs, excessive makeup, and provocative clothing. These, he said, can attract curses and create spiritual barriers that may prevent individuals from entering heaven.
Dr. Dadzie concluded by stressing that the first step toward liberation is acknowledging the reality of being under a curse. He encouraged the congregation to recognize their condition in order to seek the necessary spiritual intervention for healing and deliverance.
