Prominent religious leader Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim has called on parents and guardians to prioritize training their children in the ways of God.
Speaking on AP Radio 105.7’s “Ability To See” series, broadcast from Kaase in Kumasi, Dr. Ephraim highlighted the critical role parents play in shaping the spiritual and moral foundation of their children.
He referred to the biblical principle in Proverbs 22:6, which states, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it,” emphasizing that God expects parents to impart discipline and strong moral values to their children.
Dr. Ephraim cautioned that neglecting this responsibility could lead to serious consequences, such as a loss of direction, moral decline, and a break from one’s spiritual heritage.
He urged parents and guardians to take their role seriously, stressing that the proper guidance is vital for the spiritual, emotional, and social well-being of their children.
