Hopeson Adorye, Director of Operations for Movement for Change, has made a passionate plea to Ghanaians to change the current NPP government, urging them not to repeat the same administration.
With the presidential and parliamentary elections just around the corner on Saturday, December 7, 2024, Adorye emphasized that maintaining the status quo will only lead to worse outcomes for the country.
Speaking on Election Spotlight on AP Radio/TV, Adorye stressed that a change in government is essential for stabilizing the economy.
The Election Spotlight on AP Radio/TV is hosted by Kwabena Wireko and Afia Kyem Agyemang.
He pointed out that international rating institutions have downgraded Ghana’s economy to a ‘junk status’, highlighting the government’s mismanagement of the economy.
Adorye also criticized the government’s lack of innovative ideas to manage the country, noting that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia often avoids discussing economic issues.
Furthermore, Adorye expressed disappointment that the NPP government has neglected the Ashanti region, their stronghold, in terms of developmental projects.
This sentiment echoes similar concerns raised by other critics, including Ghanaian musician Mzbel, who has also urged Ghanaians to vote for change.
