Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has urged Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, in the upcoming elections to help transform the country.
Kufuor appealed to the youth to make a wise choice by supporting Dr. Bawumia, highlighting that his leadership will create opportunities to positively impact their future.
He also called on NPP members to put aside differences, seek forgiveness, and unite behind Dr. Bawumia’s candidacy.
Emphasizing the importance of digitalization, Kufuor stressed that the country needs a leader who understands its transformative potential. He believes digitalization can drive economic growth and development in Ghana.
Speaking at the party’s final rally on December 5 at the University of Ghana Sports Park, Kufuor told the crowd, “The future is in your hands. You must make the right decision in choosing your leader. So, on Saturday, vote for Dr. Bawumia, and you will witness how Ghana progresses.”
He further asserted, “Only the NPP can lead Ghana forward. Across the country, we remain the preferred party because we have upheld the values passed down by our forefathers and applied them to advance the nation.”
