President-elect John Dramani Mahama has reassured Ghanaians about the strength and stability of the nation’s democracy following the recent elections.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, December 11, after his meeting with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House in Accra, Mahama praised the successful electoral process and emphasized the importance of bipartisan cooperation in further enhancing Ghana’s democratic framework.
“Democracy and Ghana are the true winners of this electoral process. Despite the anxieties leading up to the election and voting day, Ghana has once again proven its resilience,” Mahama stated.
He continued, “We can be confident that our democracy is safe, and by working together across party lines, we can deepen and strengthen it further.”
