Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman has been crowned the 2024 African Footballer of the Year, recognizing his outstanding performances for both club and country.

The Atalanta star’s impressive form, including a hat-trick in the Europa League final, secured him the prestigious award.  

Zambia’s Barbra Banda made history by becoming the first Zambian to win the Women’s Player of the Year award.

Her exceptional performances for Orlando Pride and the Zambian national team, including a historic hat-trick at the Olympics, earned her the well-deserved recognition.
