In a Facebook post on December 24, Mahama reflected on his recent diplomatic engagements and outlined his vision for Ghana’s future, both domestically and across the African continent.

He highlighted his visits with the Presidents of Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and Gabon, emphasizing the importance of building and strengthening regional ties in West Africa. Mahama underscored that forging strong, collaborative relationships with Ghana’s neighbors and broader African partners is key to achieving common developmental goals.

“I’ve just concluded valuable discussions with the Presidents of Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and Gabon, reaffirming my commitment to fostering strong relationships with our neighbors in West Africa and on the wider African continent,” Mahama wrote.

During these engagements, the leaders explored areas of mutual cooperation, including trade, security, and sustainable development. Mahama stressed that these partnerships would yield tangible benefits not only for the countries involved but also for the citizens they serve.

In his message, Mahama emphasized that youth empowerment and supporting vulnerable communities would be at the core of his development agenda, as he seeks to build a more inclusive and prosperous Ghana.
