Nana Abodade III expresses unwavering faith in Mahama’s leadership to heal the nation’s wounds
The Krontihene of Akyem Asoum, Nana Boadi Amponim Abodade III, has praised John Mahama as a modern-day “Good Samaritan,” expressing strong belief that his leadership will restore Ghana’s lost dignity and economic stability.
Nana Abodade III lamented the state of the nation under the current leadership, criticizing what he called a period of widespread corruption and economic mismanagement. He blamed the nation’s hardships on corrupt leaders who, he said, have stripped Ghana of its resources, leaving the country in turmoil.
“Ghana has been left naked and bleeding, its resources stolen by robbers,” Nana Abodade said, drawing a parallel to the biblical story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:29. “But now, a Good Samaritan has arrived to heal and restore what was lost. We thank God that President Mahama is about to take the mantle and lead us to recovery.”
Nana Abodade III expressed confidence that Mahama’s leadership would usher in a new era of prosperity for Ghana, revitalizing the nation’s economy and rebuilding its reputation on the international stage.
