Two individuals are currently receiving treatment at the Bawjiase Polyclinic after being severely injured in a mob attack.
The suspects, identified as Fofo Agboyemeh and Kwame Agboyemeh, were apprehended while attempting to exhume the body of a 10-year-old boy, James Ajoyemeh, who had been buried just three days prior at the Adawukwa cemetery near Awutu Bawjiase in the Awutu Senya West District.
The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when okada riders intercepted the suspects at Ashalaja.
This discovery sparked outrage among the local community, leading to a violent mob attack. The Denkyira Police swiftly intervened, preventing the situation from escalating further and potentially resulting in fatalities.
The suspects are currently in police custody and are under investigation to determine the motive behind this disturbing act.
