Parliament has officially confirmed the appointment of three key nominees to drive leadership in Education, Roads, and Agriculture, following their rigorous vetting by the Appointments Committee.
Haruna Iddrisu has been confirmed as Minister-designate for Education, Kwame Governs Agbodza as Minister-designate for Roads and Highways, and Eric Opoku as Minister-designate for Food and Agriculture.
The Appointments Committee conducted a thorough evaluation of their qualifications, experience, and proposed strategies for their respective ministries.
After detailed deliberations, the committee unanimously endorsed their appointments. In a plenary session chaired by Second Deputy Speaker Andrew Asiamah Amoako, Parliament engaged in an in-depth discussion on the nominees’ capabilities and their plans to address the nation’s critical challenges.
Following the deliberations, all three nominees were confirmed by a parliamentary vote.
