A woman in her late 30s has been found dead in what is suspected to be a suicide at Nerebehi in the Atwima Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region.
Eyewitness Yaw Amankwaa, who was passing through the area, recounted the unsettling moment he discovered the body. “I was just a stranger passing by when I saw something standing. I shouted ‘Jesus!’ because I thought it was a divine revelation,” he shared during an interview.
Upon realizing the situation, Amankwaa immediately alerted the former Chief of Nerebehi. The police were called to the scene, and the body has since been transported to the morgue. Investigations into the tragic incident are now underway.
