Deputy Minister-designate for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, Sampson Ahi, has refuted claims that the Akufo-Addo administration constructed roads in the Bodi District during its eight-year tenure.
Ahi’s comments came in response to Okaikwei Central MP, Patrick Boamah, who had asserted that the NPP government developed roads in the region.
“That’s absolutely false. The NPP did not construct a single inch of tarred road in the Bodi District over the past eight years,” Ahi said emphatically.
Speaking before Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Monday, February 24, Ahi challenged his critics to present proof, adding that he would gladly retract his statement if shown evidence.
“If Hon. Patrick Boamah can provide evidence of tarred roads in Bodi, I will be more than happy to take back my words,” Ahi concluded.
