Former Deputy Finance Minister Dr. Stephen Amoah is calling for an investigation into the financial aspects of Ghana’s National Cathedral project.
While he supports the project as a Christian, he shares concerns about its funding and overall cost.
“I think the money should be investigated,” Dr. Amoah said, adding that he agrees with critics despite being an NPP member.
He also questioned the location of the facility, suggesting it could have been built elsewhere.
The National Cathedral project, launched in 2017, aims to create a world-class worship center and symbol of Ghana’s Christian heritage.
However, its financial implications have raised concerns among critics.
