The University of Ghana has suspended 14 students for two academic years due to disorderly conduct and violations of institutional regulations. This decision follows investigations by the university’s Disciplinary Committee into various incidents of student misconduct. During their suspension, the affected students are prohibited from participating in all academic and extracurricular activities.
In a separate but related development, the university has also taken disciplinary action against 97 students found guilty of examination malpractices. These sanctions were imposed after formal hearings confirmed breaches of exam protocols. Additionally, two other students have received official reprimands for conduct deemed inappropriate by university standards.
The university reiterated its steadfast commitment to upholding discipline and academic integrity within the institution.
