The Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations has called on religious leaders in Ghana to submit prophecies or spiritual insights of national importance for official review.
According to a statement released on Sunday, August 10, 2025, by Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, the Presidential Envoy, this new directive applies to prophecies about political leaders, national security, governance, and public stability. The move is intended to promote responsibility and proper stewardship over the nation’s future during “these times of uncertainty.”
The statement also asked for prayers for the President, the government, state institutions, bereaved families, and the nation following a recent accident involving government officials, military personnel, and NDC party executives. Finally, it reaffirmed the government’s commitment to working with faith leaders to ensure Ghana’s peace and prosperity.
