Preacher and spiritual leader, Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim, has urged Christians to rethink the common phrase, “God gives and God takes,” cautioning that not every death is ordained by God.
Speaking on AP Radio 105.7’s “The Ability to See” series, Dr. Ephraim explained that death can originate from three sources: God, demonic forces, or human agents influenced by demonic powers.
He warned that many people have been misled into blaming God for deaths that are, in reality, the result of spiritual attacks, witchcraft, or occult influences.
“Without true spiritual covering that comes from worshiping the one true God, people expose themselves to the works of witches, wizards, and demonic agreements,” he stated.
Dr. Ephraim emphasized that such deaths — rooted in evil covenants or occultic operations — should not be seen as acts of God. He called on believers to seek genuine spiritual protection and not fall victim to deception.
He further addressed misconceptions about spiritual power, asserting that demonic powers are often wrongly seen as superior.
“Demons have successfully convinced many that their power is greater, but the only true and sovereign power comes from the Lord God Almighty — the Creator of all, including the angels who became demons,” he said.
Dr. Ephraim concluded by warning that those who chase after demonic power for influence or protection ultimately face disgrace.
“Those who seek power from demons end in shame,” he said.
