Laryea Kingston

Former Ghana international Laryea Kingston has revealed his ambition to manage a first team at a major tournament within the next five years.

The 45-year-old has spent several years developing his coaching career at youth level, including stints with Danish club Nordsjaelland’s U-18 team and Ghana’s U-17 side, the Black Starlets.

He is currently in charge of Uganda’s junior national teams (U-17 and U-20) on a two-year contract.

“We want to be leading one of the big teams across the world in the next five years,” Kingston said..
“I want to find myself managing a team at the AFCON, and if not, then in a first-team role anywhere across the world. That is my target in the next five years.”

Kingston also expressed his readiness to take on the senior national team, the Black Stars, “if the environment is right.”
