Ablakwa, Organised Labour and other stakeholders have questioned the process that led to the selection of Rock City as the viable entity to purchase the hotels.
Dubbed Hands off our Hotels, the protest seeks to compel President Akufo-Addo to prevent the sale of these hotels.
The march begun at 8:00 am in front of the Labadi Beach Hotel, proceed to the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, and continue through Giffard Road to the Lands Commission.
The Minority Caucus has thrown their support behind the demonstration.
Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa speaking to the media at the demonstration grounds said, selling Labadi Beach Hotel to Rock City is a step not in the right direction.
He added that the transaction is a clear case of state capture by appointees of the government.
Minority Chief Whip, Govern Agbodza also said, they will resist all attempt to stop the commission of crime and it has nothing to do with anyone’s personality even they would have resisted even if Okudzeto Ablakwa was the one who was purchasing the hotel.
