Felix Afena-Gyan scored his fifth goal of the season for Juventus Next Gen in a 1-1 draw against Potenza in Serie C action on Sunday.

The Ghanaian forward came on as a substitute in the 66th minute and scored a late equalizer, salvaging a point for his team despite them playing with a man advantage.

Afena-Gyan’s goal demonstrated his scoring prowess. He calmly finished a low cross from Gabriele Mulazzi, who had made a skillful play on the right flank. This goal marks Afena-Gyan’s fifth goal contribution (goals and assists) since December, second only to midfielder Simeone Guerra’s eight contributions for the team during that period.

The 21-year-old has made 13 appearances for Juventus Next Gen this season.

The team currently sits 13th in the league and are unbeaten in their last 10 matches. Afena-Gyan will be looking to play a key role in helping his team reach the playoffs.
