In a move to maintain and further develop the School Feeding Programme in the country, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Hajia Safia Mohammed as the new National Coordinator.
This decision comes after the unfortunate passing of Madam Getrude Quashiga, the previous coordinator, on Sunday, November 12, 2023.
Hajia Safia Mohammed is currently the 1st Deputy National Women’s Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP). Her new role as the National Coordinator of the School Feeding Programme will see her leading efforts to enhance school enrolment, attendance, and retention among students across the country.
