The Concerned Youth of Asante, led by President Dr. Nana Agyenim Boateng, has expressed strong opposition to the planned anti-Igbo demonstration in Ghana.

During a press conference in Kumasi, Dr. Boateng emphasized that the Asante tradition is built on hospitality and warmth towards foreigners, making such demonstrations unwelcome and unnecessary.

Asanteman has a long history of welcoming and treating foreigners with kindness. Dr. Boateng stated that instead of targeting Igbo brothers, the government should prioritize strengthening Ghana’s borders to prevent malicious individuals from entering the country.

He called on Ghanaians to reject hatred and division, embracing a shared humanity that promotes unity and understanding.

The government, according to Dr. Boateng, should focus on addressing pressing national issues rather than allowing demonstrations that could potentially disrupt peace and harmony.

Ghanaians, he noted, are known for their hospitality, and it is essential to uphold this value.

Dr. Boateng urged all to join in rejecting hatred and embracing unity, ensuring that Ghana remains a beacon of peace and hospitality for all.
