Dr. Dominic Ayine, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice-designate, has reaffirmed his commitment to protecting Ghana’s interests in all international contracts and legal transactions.

During his vetting by Parliament’s Appointments Committee, Dr. Ayine outlined plans to implement robust measures to prevent public losses in such dealings.

He emphasized his expertise in international arbitration, citing his extensive experience with the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).

Dr. Ayine also defended the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration’s record, stating that no dubious judgment debts occurred during their tenure.

This assurance comes as the country seeks to strengthen its legal framework and safeguard public funds in international agreements.
