Barcelona has been granted provisional permission by the Spanish National Sports Council (CSD) to register forwards Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.

The players, signed in the summer, were initially only registered for the first half of the season due to the club’s inability to comply with La Liga’s wage cap restrictions.

Following the rejection of their previous requests by both the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and the courts, Barcelona appealed to the CSD, which granted a precautionary measure allowing the players to be registered temporarily.

This decision allows Olmo and Victor to participate in upcoming matches, including the Spanish Supercopa final.

La Liga has expressed its disagreement with the CSD’s decision and is planning to file an appeal.

The case highlights the ongoing tension between Barcelona and La Liga regarding the club’s financial situation and compliance with league regulations.
