Boankra, Ashanti Region – Professor Ransford Edward Gyampo, Acting Chief Executive of the Ghana Shippers Authority (GSA), has expressed satisfaction with the progress of construction at the Boankra Integrated Logistics Terminal (Boankra Inland Port).

During a site visit, Prof. Gyampo commended Justmoh Construction Limited, a Ghanaian firm, for their work on the project.

The Boankra Inland Port is a crucial infrastructure project designed to improve Ghana’s transportation network and stimulate economic growth. It will function as a hub for goods and cargo transport, reducing congestion at seaports and facilitating trade.

Prof. Gyampo assured of the government’s continued support for the project and emphasized the importance of engaging local companies in such endeavors. “Local companies have the capacity to deliver, and it’s essential we support them,” he stated.

He acknowledged the financial challenges faced by Justmoh Construction but noted their dedication to meeting deadlines and accelerating progress. “I must say they are doing a wonderful job,” he reiterated.

The project’s completion is expected to significantly benefit Ghana’s economy by creating jobs and driving growth in the transportation and logistics sectors.

With government backing and the expertise of Justmoh Construction, the Boankra Inland Port is poised to become a vital part of Ghana’s economic infrastructure. Prof. Gyampo also pledged to lead Ghana’s commercial shipping sector forward through collaboration with stakeholders.

Dr. Justice Amo, CEO of Justmoh Construction, assured Prof. Gyampo and his team that his company will deliver exceptional work on the project, justifying the nation’s investment.

This commitment, according to Dr. Amo, reflects Justmoh Construction’s dedication to excellence and its contribution to Ghana’s economic growth.

The Project Director for Boankra Inland Port, Dr. J.B Koranteng Yorke, reported that phase one of the project is 82% complete and usable upon completion.

He added that the company is currently awaiting financial clearance from the government to expedite further work at the site.
