A second-half goal from Joao Pedro salvaged a point for Brighton as they fought back from a deficit to draw against Arsenal in an entertaining match at the Emirates Stadium.

However, the game took a dramatic turn when Declan Rice was sent off for a second yellow card in the 49th minute.
Brighton capitalized on Arsenal’s numerical disadvantage, with Yankuba Minteh’s shot being parried into the path of Joao Pedro, who calmly slotted the ball past David Raya to level the score.

Brighton’s late signing, Georginio Rutter, was introduced in an attempt to find a winning goal, but his header went wide.
