Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar and the leader of The New Force, has outlined an ambitious plan to revitalize Ghana’s economy.
In his newly launched manifesto, “12 Pillars For Economic Freedom,” Cheddar proposed that Ghana should print its own currency domestically, rather than outsourcing the task to foreign entities.
He argued that localizing currency production could stimulate industrialization and boost economic growth.
Cheddar emphasized the importance of reducing dependence on imported goods, stating that Ghana has the resources to produce its own food and other essential items.
Criticizing the current system of importing overpriced packaged goods, Cheddar pledged to promote local production and job creation.
He expressed confidence in Ghana’s ability to drive its own economic development and achieve true economic freedom.
