Club Licensing committee Chairman, Kwame Baah Nuako, has called on the Ghanaian football community to ensure that the tragic loss of a devoted Asante Kotoko supporter is not in vain.
The passionate supporter lost his life while following his beloved club, a sacrifice that Baah Nuako believes should serve as a wake-up call for stakeholders in Ghanaian football.
He stressed that fans should never have to pay the ultimate price for their love of the game.
Speaking on the sidelines during the funeral of the late Asante Kotoko fan, Baah Nuako expressed deep sorrow over the fan’s passing, emphasizing that such tragedies should never occur in Ghanaian football again.
While acknowledging the grief of the deceased’s family, Baah Nuako expressed hope that the late supporter finds peace, knowing he played his role in the sport he cherished.
