In a recent appearance on Ap Radio 105.7, renowned scholar and spiritual leader Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim strongly criticized “prophets” who exploit religion for financial profit.
Dr. Ephraim, known for his thought-provoking analysis of modern religious trends, likened these individuals to impostors infiltrating sacred spaces for personal gain. “These people are like civilians who’ve unlawfully entered a military camp to sell fake military boots,” he said. “They are in the wrong place, engaging in dishonest business, taking advantage of those who trust them.”
He went on to assert that these individuals are not true servants of God but rather opportunists who prey on the naivety of others. “They shouldn’t even be leading churches,” he emphasized. “They are unqualified, motivated by greed, not genuine faith and service.”
Dr. Ephraim contrasted these “fake prophets” with true pastors, describing the latter as father figures who guide their congregations with wisdom, integrity, and a sincere commitment to God.
He urged the public to seek authentic spiritual guidance from those who have been genuinely called by God to serve His people.
His message served as a call for discernment and caution, warning listeners to be vigilant and avoid those who prioritize personal profit over genuine spiritual care.
