In a recent episode of The Ability to See on Radio 105.7, preacher Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim delivered a strong message concerning the appearance of modern Christian women and the standards upheld in churches.
Dr. Ephraim warned that women who dress in ways he described as resembling Jezebel—including wearing synthetic hair, wigs, heavy makeup, and revealing clothing—are straying from God’s path and influencing others to do the same.
Referencing the biblical figure Jezebel, known for her defiance and manipulative influence, he claimed that these fashion choices are not merely physical but carry spiritual implications. He asserted that pastors who permit such trends in their churches are, knowingly or not, allowing the spirit of Jezebel into their congregations.

Dr. Ephraim further criticized gospel musicians who adopt these styles, saying their appearance and presentation glorify Jezebel rather than God. He specifically called on pastors’ wives to model godly standards, cautioning that embracing such appearances poses a spiritual risk to their families and churches.
He concluded by urging Christians to educate themselves on the spiritual origins of certain fashion trends, which he associated with what he termed “marine kingdom influences,” and to consciously reject them in order to uphold holiness within the church.
