Renowned cleric Dr. Kuuku Dadzie has expressed concern that many individuals join churches without thoroughly examining the Bible.
He emphasized that people, especially the youth, often choose churches for misguided reasons.
During his appearance on AP Radio 105.7’s “Ability to See” series in Kumasi, Dr. Dadzie noted that some people attend church simply because their parents brought them there.
The powerful man of God said they mistakenly believe that this will secure their place in heaven.
However, Dr. Dadzie stressed that if one’s parents joined a church without proper reasoning, their children should not blindly follow in their footsteps.
Dr. Dadzie also pointed out that peer influence, promises of entertainment, marriage partners, or respectable burials after death often drive people to join churches.
He warned that these motivations demonstrate a lack of seriousness about faith.
“Unless a church is genuinely led by a servant of the Lord Jesus and teaches holiness, it cannot lead its members to God,” he stressed.
