Education Minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has expressed strong support for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the ideal candidate to continue advancing the initiatives and successes of President Akufo-Addo’s administration.
Dr. Adutwum commended Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to education and economic development, highlighting that his leadership would enhance and expand the transformative policies that have benefitted Ghanaians.
These comments were made during an event in Accra on Sunday, where Dr. Bawumia interacted with parents and students to discuss issues affecting the education sector.
“Bawumia has shown a profound understanding of our challenges and opportunities,” Adutwum noted. “His vision aligns seamlessly with the progress we’ve achieved under President Akufo-Addo.”
The Minister cited several significant accomplishments of the current government, including the Free Senior High School policy and various infrastructure projects that have greatly improved access to education.
He believes Dr. Bawumia’s experience and dedication will be vital in building on these achievements and tackling ongoing challenges.
