The MTN Ghana Foundation has awarded 200 scholarships to continuing students in public tertiary institutions across the country for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The MTN Bright Scholarship covers the cost of tuition, accommodation, a stipend for books, and a laptop for the beneficiaries.
Robert Kuzoe, Snr Manager of MTN Ghana Foundation gave the revelation on Friday, 20th September, 2024 at the Law Faculty of the KNUST in Kumasi.
He said the Foundation received I,500 applications which was shortlisted to 400 and then to a final 200 beneficiaries.
Robert Kuzoe continued that the MTN’s flagship scholarship program, launched in 2018, aims to alleviate financial burdens on underprivileged students, reducing dropout rates due to economic constraints.
He stressed that fulfilling a promise made during its 20th anniversary celebration in 2016, MTN Ghana initiated the Bright Scholarship to support deserving students.
This initiative underscores MTN’s commitment to empowering Ghana’s youth and investing in their future.
By providing financial assistance, MTN seeks to:

The MTN Bright Scholarship, he emphasized, has transformed lives since its inception, empowering students to focus on their education without financial worry.
