Osei Kweku Palmer, a former Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has criticized Otto Addo’s performance as head coach of the Black Stars.
Palmer argues that Addo’s recent results do not justify his continued appointment as the team’s manager. Under Addo’s leadership, the Black Stars won only two out of 14 games, including a disastrous failure to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) for the first time in 20 years.
Palmer highlighted the irony of Kwasi Appiah, who was previously criticized and sacked by the GFA, now leading Sudan to qualify for the AFCON while Ghana remains absent.
Addo will be looking to improve the team’s performance in upcoming matches.
