The Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) is spearheading an independent evaluation of the Ghana National Anti-Corruption Action Plan (NACAP).

The evaluation seeks to assess the effectiveness of NACAP, which has been implemented since 2015 and is set to conclude in 2024.

National consultants are leading the assessment, with technical support from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

The evaluation will focus on determining NACAP’s achievements, impact, and sustainability in combating corruption in Ghana.

The public can access the evaluation questionnaire on the GSS website, CHRAJ website, and various social media platforms.

The GSS has assured that all responses will be treated with confidentiality and used solely for evaluation purposes.

The implementation of NACAP is overseen by a High-Level Implementation Committee and a Monitoring Committee, with the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) playing a pivotal role.

The evaluation findings will inform the development of the second NACAP (2025-2034) and guide the implementation of more effective anti-corruption strategies.

The evaluation targets all NACAP stakeholders, including government institutions, anti-corruption agencies, and the judiciary.

The GSS encourages all Ghanaians to participate in the evaluation by providing open and honest feedback through the Citizen Science approach.
