Renowned spiritual leader Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim has emphasized the true mission of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which he believes centers on the salvation of souls.
In an appearance on AP Radio 105.7‘s “Ability to See” series in Kumasi, Dr. Ephraim clarified that the church should not be regarded as a charity organization.
He stressed that the primary purpose of the church is to save individuals from eternal punishment and guide them toward spiritual salvation.
Dr. Ephraim explained that merely receiving physical aid such as food, money, or clothing does not make one a child of God nor guarantee entrance into heaven.
“If you live in a dilapidated, mud-filled house on the brink of collapse, what you need is not food, money, or clothing. What you need is to get out of the dangerous building. Once you are saved from harm, then you can worry about material needs,” he stated.
Referencing Matthew 6:33, Dr. Ephraim encouraged individuals to prioritize seeking the kingdom of God first, assuring that when they do, the Heavenly Father will provide for their other needs.
