The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has promised the youth of Ghana to support their startup businesses as well as Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) when voted into power.
Speaking to commemorate this year’s International Youth Day, Dr Bawumia expressed is confidence that this will provide skills to more than one million youth in the country.
He recalled the mobile money interoperability and the deployment of a drone systems as major initiatives by the government.
He also emphasised on introduction of a credit system when he is voted into power.
Already, issues about loans for startups and SMEs have been a major setback.
Dr. Bawumia promised to provide skills to over 1 million youth to engage in digital employment.
Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohammed Yusif assured Ghanaian youth of more opportunities for them.
