Israeli airstrikes and drone attacks on the Gaza Strip have killed at least seven Palestinians, including three children, amid a continuing blockade that has left the territory without access to food, fuel, and medical supplies.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that an Israeli warplane struck a tent sheltering a family in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City early Saturday, killing five people from the same household. The victims included three children, their mother, and her husband.

“They were asleep in their tent when the airstrike hit—there was no warning,” said Omar Abu al-Kass, the children’s grandfather, speaking to AFP.

In a separate incident, an Israeli drone strike in Gaza City’s Tuffah neighborhood killed one person, while Israeli naval forces fired on the coast of Rafah, killing another man, Mohammed Saeed al-Bardawil. Two others were wounded in an attack on the al-Mawasi area, which has been designated a humanitarian zone.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours have left at least 23 Palestinians dead and 124 injured.

Meanwhile, the Israeli blockade continues to prevent the entry of essential goods, including life-saving medications. Patients with chronic illnesses such as cancer and diabetes are reportedly among the hardest hit, as Gaza’s healthcare system struggles to function under siege.

The escalating violence and worsening humanitarian conditions have drawn increased alarm from international organizations and human rights groups, who warn that the situation is rapidly becoming unmanageable.
