GFA Boss, Kurt Okraku

Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has been elected to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee.

Okraku, who ran unopposed as the representative of WAFU Zone B, will serve a four-year term from 2025 to 2029 on the 24-member committee.

His election grants Ghana a stronger voice in CAF’s decision-making processes, allowing the GFA to advocate for progressive reforms and football development across Africa.

Okraku, who became GFA President in 2019 and WAFU Zone B President in 2023, joins a distinguished list of Ghanaians, including Ohene Djan, Kwesi Nyantakyi, and others, who have served on the CAF Executive Committee.
