President John Dramani Mahama has urged his newly sworn-in ministers to prioritize humility, respect, and accountability in their service to the people of Ghana.
Speaking at the Jubilee House on January 22, Mahama reminded them of the high expectations placed on them by citizens and emphasized the need to remain responsive to their concerns.
“We must reflect humility and respect for the people we serve,” the President stated, warning against arrogance and dismissive behavior from public officials. He called for a people-centered approach to governance, urging the ministers to focus on the welfare and aspirations of Ghanaians in all decisions.
Mahama also tasked Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson with addressing the pressing economic challenges of inflation, unemployment, and the rising cost of living, while underscoring his commitment to accountability and inclusivity in governance.
