Manchester City have completed the signing of Wolves left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri in a deal worth £31 million.
The 24-year-old Algeria international has signed a contract until 2030 and will be eligible for the Club World Cup, where City face Wydad AC of Morocco in their opening group-stage match on 18 June.
Ait-Nouri joined Wolves permanently from French side Angers in 2021 for £14.9 million, following a loan spell at Molineux. He featured 41 times in all competitions last season, scoring five goals and registering seven assists as Wolves secured Premier League survival.
He becomes the second major departure from Wolves this summer, after Matheus Cunha agreed a £62.5m move to Manchester United.
City continue to strengthen their squad, having already secured a £46.3m deal for Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan. The reigning Premier League champions spent over £200m in the January window.
Speaking after the move, Ait-Nouri said:
“City are one of the biggest clubs in the world and the chance to play for the club is a dream come true. I’m excited to work with Pep Guardiola and learn from such a world-class group of players.”
Meanwhile, City are in talks to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli, 33, as backup. The move would come shortly after the club confirmed Scott Carson will leave when his contract expires this summer.
