MTN Ghana has announced significant progress in its nationwide network upgrade, with 80% of the project already completed.
The Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of MTN Ghana, Thomas Motlepa said the telecommunications giant is on track to finalize the overhaul by the end of August 2024.
He explained that this major infrastructure upgrade aims to enhance network reliability, improve coverage, and boost overall customer experience across the country.
“The new network is also expected to be more energy-efficient, aligning with MTN’s sustainability goals,” he stressed.
Motlepa expressed gratitude to customers for their patience during the upgrade process, which has involved some intermittent service disruptions.
MTN assures the public that it is committed to delivering superior network quality once the project is fully implemented.
