Fiifi Boafo, the spokesperson for New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice Presidential Candidate Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, widely known as NAPO, has strongly refuted a viral report alleging that NAPO made inflammatory statements about the Ewe and Ga ethnic groups.

The report falsely claimed that NAPO remarked, “Gas and Ewes are the problems of Ghana” and suggested that these groups shouldn’t have been part of the country’s history.

In response, Fiifi Boafo took to Facebook to categorically deny the allegations, describing the claims as entirely baseless and cautioning the public to be vigilant against misinformation.

He stressed the importance of verifying information before sharing it on social media, urging people to rely on credible sources and avoid spreading false narratives.

“I understand that in today’s digital world, especially during an election year, people are eager to catch up on the latest news.

“Avoid raising your blood pressure over questionable quotes on flyers or from dubious websites that often spread fake news.”
