On October 4, 2024, Old Mutual Ghana, a leading insurance provider, held a Broker Engagement event at the Airport View Hotel in Accra to appreciate and connect with its stakeholders.

This event marked a significant step in the company’s commitment to building stronger relationships with its brokers, who play a crucial role in its operations and client satisfaction.

It celebrated and recognized top-performing brokers, presented the company’s strategy and vision for the upcoming year, and provided networking opportunities.

In her welcome address, Mrs. Rita Boateng, Customer Experience Executive at Old Mutual Ghana, expressed sincere gratitude to the brokers for their essential contributions to the company’s growth.

She stated, “Today, we gather to celebrate and strengthen the invaluable partnership we share with you, our brokers. Your unwavering dedication, insight, and expertise are the foundation of the strong relationships we maintain with our clients.”

“This event not only allows us to express our deep appreciation but also offers a chance to connect, exchange ideas, and explore new ways to collaborate for mutual success in our industry. We are truly grateful to have you with us,” she added.

The event featured a presentation by Wisdom Donor, Deputy Head of Distribution-Corporate, who discussed the company’s strategy for the upcoming year and its incentive scheme for high-performing brokers.

During an open forum, brokers shared their enriching experiences from offshore conferences and engaged directly with the Old Mutual leadership team, providing valuable insights and discussing innovative collaboration strategies. This interactive segment allowed for a robust exchange of ideas aimed at mutual success.

Nick Tennant, a seasoned broker from South Africa, also delivered a presentation, sharing key international business insights and practical strategies. He emphasized, “Today, multinational clients expect smooth processes, easy access to policy documents, precision, and a reliable broker available 24/7 when issues arise. It is our job to be that reliable resource if we want to delight our clients.”

The event culminated in an appreciation and awards segment, recognizing brokers who demonstrated outstanding performance and made significant contributions to Old Mutual’s corporate business over the past year.
