The Asantehene and Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has successfully mediated a dispute surrounding the reappointment of the university’s Vice-Chancellor.
Following recent legal challenges to the Vice-Chancellor’s extension, Otumfuo convened a meeting with the involved parties.
As a result, the plaintiffs agreed to withdraw their lawsuits and allow the Asantehene to address any remaining concerns.
The resolution of the dispute will help to ensure the smooth continuation of KNUST’s academic activities.
