Parisians witnessed a historic event last week as the “March for Jesus” drew a record-breaking crowd of over 25,000.
This celebration of faith extended beyond Paris, reaching cities like Lille and Strasbourg.
Pastor Jean Luc Trachsel, a speaker at the event, emphasized the importance of unity: “If we want to make a difference in the world, there’s one key thing: to love one another as Christ loved us.”
Organizers prioritized inclusivity. Gilbert Léonian, the march’s coordinator, told CBN, “We welcomed the entire evangelical Protestant community… My role is to foster unity around Jesus.”
“We’re not here to promote a religion or a church,” Trachsel explained. “We’re here because of someone who has deeply impacted us – Jesus.”
The march culminated in a concert featuring Hillsong FR and Glorious.
Pastor Trachsel observed the event’s powerful impact. “Many people found salvation, healing, and baptism in the Holy Spirit,” he said. He expressed optimism for a spiritual revival: “If God can do this in France, He can do it anywhere! It’s harvest time, and revival has begun!”
