The Ghana Police Service has successfully arrested Ibrahim Mohammed, a suspect who made threats against public officials in a viral video.

A GH¢50,000 reward was offered for information leading to his arrest after he was declared wanted on September 9.

In the video, Mohammed, who identified himself as Kanawu, made threats against public officials and anyone who stood in his way.  

The Police announced the suspect’s arrest on social media, confirming that Mohammed was taken into custody on September 11.

The statement added that Mohammed will face the law and undergo due process.
