Police in the Ashanti Region have opened an investigation into the tragic and unexplained death of Emmanuel Agyie Baffour, popularly known online as ‘Atom De Morale Spirit’.
The 22-year-old TikTok personality, known for his vibrant ‘Jama’ performances and cheerful presence, had been missing for several weeks. His body was discovered in a bush at Jachie Pramso, almost a month after he was last seen during the vacation period from school.
Baffour was a second-year Visual Arts student at Mampong Technical College of Education. His disappearance and sudden death have shocked both the campus community and his online fanbase.
Tributes have poured in on social media, where he was beloved for his humor, positivity, and entertaining videos. One follower, Blessing, wrote: “Oh legend of happiness, joy, and comfort giver… May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace in the name of Jesus Christ.”
His classmates, who had been anticipating his return when school resumed, are now grappling with grief and disbelief.
The Ashanti Regional Police Command has confirmed that a full investigation is underway to uncover the cause of death and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
