Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has fueled speculation about his future at the club, stating that he is “ready for a new challenge.”

The 27-year-old, who has been a key player for United since his debut in 2016, was surprisingly omitted from the squad for the recent Manchester derby. New manager Ruben Amorim cited performance and professionalism expectations as the reason for Rashford’s absence.

In an interview with football writer Henry Winter, Rashford acknowledged the need for a change, stating, “When I leave, it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings.'” He emphasized his desire to leave on good terms and avoid any negativity towards the club.

Rashford, a product of the United youth academy, has scored 138 goals in 426 appearances for the club. However, his form has dipped in recent months, leading to criticism from pundits and fans.

While disappointed with his omission from the derby squad, Rashford expressed a determination to improve and emphasized his desire to return to the England national team under new manager Thomas Tuchel.

Rashford’s comments have sparked widespread speculation about his future at Old Trafford, with many believing that he may be seeking a new challenge elsewhere.   Sources and related content
