Prince Owusu Ansah

Prince Owusu Ansah, a gifted young footballer currently playing for the Second Division side of Adom FC in Kumasi, is quickly making a name for himself in Ghana’s football scene.

Having developed his skills from the colts’ level, Prince now plays as a striker and has been instrumental in helping Adom FC qualify for the Middle League.

Football runs in his blood—his father and younger brother are also footballers—making it no surprise that Prince has emerged as one of the standout players on his team. Though he once considered a career in music, football ultimately won his heart.

He spoke in an exclusive with K. Owusu on AP Sports on AP Radio 105.7 at Kaase in Kumasi.

Known on the pitch as “Gawugatetey,” Prince is celebrated by teammates and fans alike for his dedication and goal-scoring ability.

He trains rigorously, often twice a day, and openly credits his faith in Jesus Christ as the foundation of his success.

With dreams of playing in Europe and representing Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, Prince is determined to continue climbing the football ladder and make his mark on the international stage.
