AS Roma have parted ways with head coach Ivan Juric following a 3-2 home defeat to Bologna on Sunday, marking the search for their third manager this season.
Juric, 49, was appointed in September to replace Daniele de Rossi, who had a brief tenure of just eight months after José Mourinho’s departure.
During his time at the helm, Juric oversaw 12 matches, securing four wins and suffering five losses.
“We thank Ivan Juric for his hard work in recent weeks,” said Roma’s ownership group, The Friedkin Group, who are also in negotiations to acquire Everton. “He managed a challenging environment with professionalism, and we appreciate his efforts. The search for a new head coach is already underway, and we anticipate an announcement soon.”
Reports indicate that former Italy and Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is a frontrunner for the position, following his exit from the Saudi Arabian national team.
Currently, Roma sit 12th in Serie A and are 20th in the Europa League, only one point clear of the relegation zone.
